Today, we're here to recap a fantastic year in Atlanta area real estate, and look forward to what 2015 will bring!
It's been a great year for homeowners, as the average value of sold homes in the Atlanta area is up 11% compared
to the same time last year! The market has really rebounded over the
past few years with steady appreciation, despite slowing down a bit in
the last few months
Interest rates have also
improved from last year, falling from about 4.26% to 4%. You can expect
home values to continue their incremental climb this year, but keep in
mind that different neighborhoods will appreciate at different rates. Ponce
City Market, the Old Fourth Ward, and Poncey-Highland are all very hot
areas right now, and we don't expect that to change next year.
